Scenario 5 • Eliminate the entire big jug/flake on the right face. Go left instead, pinch and layback your way up the arête. Mantle the top on the left side of the boulder. Makes the problem more interesting, but probably doesn’t change the grade

Scenario 4

Sit start. Left hand on the obvious side-pull and right hand on the obvious crimp. Work your way straight up to a pair of crimps, go right to a jug, left to the arête, and up to an easy finish.
